Ronda Rousey Exclusive Video Interview - Part I  Write e-mail

Newest video interview of "Rowdy" Ronda Rousey by Scott Corl of Full Contact Fighter. She talks about shaking up the WMMA scene, twitter wars, and how things will calm down after she beats everyone.

So what do you think - is it a game? Or is it her job to keep things interesting? Armbar or KO? Professional sports vs Olympics: entertaining vs respect? Is she dodging Cyborg by going down to 135lbs. or playing it smart? And is she the Chael Sonnen of Women's MMA?

Enjoy this exclusive video interview of Gina Carano by IAmRogue.com. The more I hear the difference in her "real" vs. "fake" movie voice, the more it freaks me out! Why would anyone want to change her voice - it's lovely!

Ms. Belinda Dunne - Career Bitch? Part II!  Write e-mail
Written by Katrina Belcher

Belinda Dunne - Career BitchIn Part II of my interview, Ms. B discusses her new online “reality” show Career Bitch, Princesses of Pain, and her goals for 2012.

TUFF: So what is “Career Bitch” about?
The same thing that is popular TV right now.

TUFF: Is that why you are being labeled the Kim K of women’s MMA?
I guess, although I have also been labeled the female version of Simon Cowel and Dana with a vagina. So I don’t give much attention to the labels but they exist.

TUFF: So how is Princesses of Pain doing?
Really well! The Princesses and I have put the work into fighting for our success. It’s been a tough journey and it isn’t over yet... Promoting women is harder in that the public are struggling to accept female fighters, numbers are limited and sponsors almost nonexistent, but one thing I have that I know male promoters don’t, is massive support from the fighters and I wont fail them.

TUFF: Can you tell us…what are your plans for growth?
I know this is not going to be a popular thing for me to be saying but since I seem to be getting lots of personal attention I am planning on putting that to use to help grow POP. I am releasing an internet series title “Career Bitch” about my career as a promoter (but like the Kim K show it hardly shows me doing any work.) If that series grows, then I can use any funds from it to create a stronger league. I am somewhat shameless in the sense that I am very open to how I get attention for POP and if this is what it takes, I’ll do it.

I am also planning to run more night events this year and am trying to find sponsors to bring more international fighters to NZ. The numbers of female fighters in this area of the world are exploding, but I want POP to be an international league with strong ties to America and Japan.

I am also running smokers every 3 months, which in NZ are legal (we call them “Friendlies”) and very popular. Finally, I manage a production crew (film crew) that continue to follow the fighters so that when an opportunity happens to expose them, we will be ready.

I’m attacking this from every damn angle I can think of, and I am not getting a lot of sleep.
